Life & Blog Goals for September

Hey guys, I know it has been a couple of weeks since my last post, and I feel awful about that. So awful that I have actually continued to put off writing this post for the past couple of days. August was a crazy month for me. I ended my internship the first week of September, moved into my new apartment (which I am still trying to get my room in order), started school back, and got back into the swing of things at my retail job I work at when I am in school. And I hate to say it, but most of my goals for August were not fulfilled sadly. 

August Goals

Life Goals
  • Move into new apartment and get room set up completely. (Going to go ahead and say this is done, even though it isn't 100% done yet.) 
  • Start working out at least 3 days a week. Maybe this month? 
  • Lose 5 pounds. (Due to being so busy, I didn't always have time to eat, so I indeed lost 5 pounds)
  • Get all of my books/school supplies. (DONE, thankfully, after a couple of mess ups with the shipping.) 
Blog Goals
  • Grow Blog by getting at least 1,000 page views. (Sadly, didn't even come close to this.) 
  • Posts at least two blog posts per week. (Only posted 4 the whole month.) 
  • Posts on Instagram at least 3 times per week. (Only posted 6 times, so about half of my goal.) 
  • Grow Instagram Followers to 175. (It did go up from 131 to 157, but I need to work on my Instagram engagement.) 
  • Grow Twitter Followers to 185. (LOOK, I finally found one that I was successful at. I grew from 164-187.)
  • Grow Facebook Likes to 35. (Another one that I was successful with, actually went from 26 to 166 likes.) 
  • Find more brands that align with my personal brand to collaborate with. (Didn't really find any new brands to collab with this month.) 
  • Making my first affiliate sale.  (I keep trying, but it just hasn't happened for me yet.) 
  • Start a subscriber list.  (I've signed up with a website to do this, and you can signup HERE!)

So yea, It wasn't a very successful month for me, but here I go again, I am going to set some more goals for the month of September. Some are very similar to the ones from last month, I am just going to scale back some. 


Life Goals
  • Work out at least once per week.
  • Lose 5 more pounds.
  • Get organized with my class, test, work, study, and blogging schedules. 
  • Start finding some new stuff to wear this Fall. I am loving this Vineyard Vines Sweater.
Blog Goals
  • Get 500 page views on my blog this month.
  • Posts 5 blog posts this month.
  • Posts at least 10 posts on Instagram. 
  • Grow Instagram Followers to 175.
  • Grow Twitter Followers to 200.
  • Grow Facebook Likes to 180.
  • Get at least 10 subscribers this month. 


These are my goals for September, some people might think these are pretty low goals, but after not doing so hot last month, I will be overjoyed if I can just meet this goals this month. If anyone has any advice for me, I am more than open to hearing it.
